QSP - Quad Solar Power

The Quad Solar Power system, or QSP for short, is what teachers, students and experimenters have been wanting for quite sometime; that is, the ability to connect solar panels to a computer in order to better observe and understand how they work.  See real-time voltages from up to four solar panels graphically displayed on your computer.

Solar Panel Interface

Rather than manually plotting IV curves, the Solar Panel Interface does this for you automatically with up to two solar panels immediately showing the maximum power point for any load and solar panel series-parallel hookup.

Additionally, you can measure the effect of heat, shadowing and tilt angle on the solar panel’s performance

Solar Panel

To make your Solar Panel Interface complete, you can add two 12 volt solar panels to make the series-parallel experiments that much easier for you to perform.  Each panel is 18 volts VOC, 60mA ISC, 4 3/4 x 4 inch.  Includes wires for
                                  connectors for easy hookup to board
                                  terminal.

Sun Tracker Kit

Fuel Cell Interface

Attach the Fuel Cell Interface between your fuel cell and computer and witness its' voltage and current graphically displayed on the monitor. Create colorful plots using varying loads that you can easily add to the boards' terminals. Compatible with h-tec, Horizon, Heliocentris and other reversible fuel cells.

Wind Turbine Interface

Use the wind to generate 3-phase AC voltages with this miniature wind turbine, then go on to plot these voltages in real time. While small in size this wind turbine mimics large commercial turbines whose coils can be switched from STAR to DELTA configurations.
